You know that person who is causing no end of trouble in your life right now? Yes, that one! What would happen if God asked you to pray for that person?
I mean really pray.
Not just, “God, help them to stop being such a jerk.”
But, “God, I bless them to walk in the fullness of your joy and love.”
Ack! Doesn’t that just stick in your craw? (What is a craw, by the way?)
Join us at the Flourish Podcast as Mindy shares about a season when God asked her to pray for a difficult person. She describes in detail:
- How much bitterness she had to wade through.
- How offense had made the difficult person seem like a monster.
- How difficult it was when the Holy Spirit asked her to bless that person.
- The blessing of submitting to the hard work of obedience.
Mindy makes it real, Friends. There is nothing in us that wants to pray for difficult people, but that is part of Satan’s strategy to keep us far from reconciliation in our lives.
And you know what?
If the forces of evil have stirred up frustration in a relationship, you can be sure that reconciliation with that person will reap mountains of blessing in your life. Why else would offense tempt you? The goal of the evil one is to keep you shackled far from the fullness of joy that God longs for you to experience.
Don’t stay locked in his handcuffs a moment longer!
Listen to the Podcast and find the encouragement you need to start praying for a difficult person.
